(they both shut at noon on the weekends) thankyou for your answers...I still have 7 kilo's to lose will pilates help with that?
Answer:
Pilates (pronounced pul-LAH-teez) is a popular exercise regimen that uses special stretches and machines. As a quick browse through our Pilates category confirms, it's a big industry: books, exercise classes, equipment sales, etc. It's also quite popular with rich and famous folks like Minnie Driver, Madonna, and Julia Roberts.
Pilates is named after it's creator, Joseph H. Pilates, who was born in Germany in 1880. As a German intern in England during World War I, he designed a number of ingenious exercise machines using old hospital beds and springs. In 1926, he moved to New York with his wife and opened his own body conditioning studio. Emphasizing flexibility and overall strength over body bulk, Pilates quickly became popular with dancers like Martha Graham and George Balanchine. More and more Pilates studios popped up, and by 1964, The Herald Tribune observed:In dance classes around the United States, hundreds of young students limber up daily with an exercise they know as "pilates" without knowing that the word has a capital "P" and a living, right-breathing namesake.
Pilates is a body conditioning method that works in a different way to other fitness techniques. Targeting the deep postural muscles, Pilates works by building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It helps to reshape your body, which will become longer, leaner and more toned. It will also improve your posture, achieving the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, and it is a great way to relive unwanted stress and tension. It's slow, controlled approach means that it gives much longer-term results - and it is especially recommended by medical specialists for those with back problems In a nutshell Pilates changes the way in which we use our bodies. It changes muscle recruitment patterns, correcting common muscle imbalances, restoring good alignment and natural normal movement.
7 kilos to lose is not really a problem if you religiously follow the tips. But pilates alone isn't the solution. nFood can be be a factor in gaining a lot of weight. These are just some of the benefits of Pilates:

greater strength and muscle tone
more efficient respiratory, lymphatic and circulatory systems
better posture
a flatter stomach and trimmer waist
improved flexibility
less incidence of back pain
increased joint mobility
lower stress level

Pilates is an exercise approach done mostly by women. I think there is a large inflatable rubber ball involved somehow.
Yes it will help you lose weight, in a healthier way, and it will relax your mind as well as improve posture.
The program focuses on the core postural muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential to providing support for the spine. In particular, Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and strengthen the deep torso muscles, which are important to help alleviate and prevent back pain.
I would say, do about 30 minutes in the morning. It will energise you and you'll feel refreshed. Perhaps only do it 3 times a week. You already do a lot of work outs =]OH and also - methods:
