You need to eat a ton, at least 200-300 grams from protein a day, lift heavy in more complex lifts like the squat, deadlift, and bench press. While you're doing the lunge, have a set of 5 or 10 pound weights in each hand. Do various arm raises as you work your biceps and triceps while holding the lunge. You will strengthen the gluts and hamstrings and quads and core and biceps and abs and triceps all at the same time. Hey! Congratulations on taking a healthy step to get into shape. Any program will work if you follow it as its written. You aren't expected to do the full reps or cardio at the beginning - do what you can and you'll increase your strength and be able to do more and more. I think you're terrific! The best way to start the program is to NOT tell everyone you're doing it, in case the results don't show up immediately. Also, eat healthy, small portions of food for meals and fruit or yogurt for morning and afternoon snacks. Good luck! It sounds like you're going to be truly successful.

You need to either start off easy and work your way up, or like you said do as much as you can. Let your ankle heal (no pun!) If you try to use an injured joint, you will slow down the healing process considerably, which will cause you a great deal of pain for a long time. Exercise your arms while keeping the weight off your foot. Just give your ankle time to mend itself.

Heavy bench presses work the majority of the chest pretty well, but the best way to build the chest as with the rest of the body is variety. Yes, we are talking about the tricep. There are plenty of exercises. Believe it or not, the bench press is actually great for working the triceps, especially the closer together you place your hands. You can also do tricep kickbacks, tricep extensions, lying tricep extensions, pushups, tri pushdown, etc. You will need to lift a reasonably heavy weight as well. If you are determined to do your exercise with a supplement then I would avoid these ones at all costs as most of it will get wasted as the body can only take on so much creatine at anyone time. Whey is most beneficial. Also keep in mind that if you are looking for weight loss, u would want to stick to a low fat and low carb creatine. Creatine doesnt make u stronger, it retains water in your muscle fibres giving you longer lasting energy during contractions, thus aiding in strength training or hypertrophy. 3 hours is WAY too long. 1 hour of weights training is more than enough. 3 hours is endurance training. you just want to do 3 sets of 8 - 10 reps ( if u are after hypertrophy). You could also think about a split set where one day u do chest shoulder and triceps, followed by a rest day, then back, bicep and legs. then repeat. This way you are working opposing muscle groups.
Creatine is not what you need. All it does is supply the muscles with energy for a very short period of time at the beginning of your workout. Instead, go for a protein/creatine mix. I just noticed with my current box of Kix that they have corn syrup in them. I never noticed that before and am quite disappointed. I'm going to send a letter. I just think it's funny that there was a recent uproar about the junk in the cerals Kellogg's market to kids, but they're adult "healthy" cereals also contain a lot of junk in them. Oatmeal is also good, but not instant. They also contain sugar and junk. I cook mine on the stove and add just a sprinkling of brown sugar or real maple sugar. Oatmeal or a natural peanut butter and natural fruit preserves (no sugar) sandwhich are both good for days when I'm out of soy milk. I hope this helps.
Special K has a good amount of nutrients and the calorie count is low, but the problem is that it's not very filling and people often eat more than the recommended serving size. wow, i am surprised at what alot of people think sweat is for. Sweat how your body regulates its temperature. When you over heat, it is used to cool you down. Just like when you get really cold you start to shiver, thats your body trying to heat you up. As far as one poster who said you sweat it means you are losing weight, yeah you are losing weight, but you are not losing fat. Once you re-hydrate yourself again it will be put back on.

Rice pasta is made from brown rice grains. It is way better for you than normal pasta and better for you than rice because you can make it without oil. I think it has recently become popular because a lot of people who do not like whole wheat pasta do like rice pasta. I love it and it is good for you because brown rice is a good source of whole grains.
The only rice pasta I know is from the chinese restaurant, and anything from an American Chinese restaurant is loaded with 2x too much sodium. Sorry, wish I could of helped more.
