Probably about 38-40 inches, but don't worry about it. You probably just have a small ribcage. You can always up some muscle mass if it bothers you.

we cant technically know the average...theres no way to survey the entire male population, so if anyone gives an answer to this question, they are going to be wrong
do ya workout ? cause im 5 ft 5 190 . i workout an my chest is around 40-43 inches.
