What is the best diet for a teenage boy who wants to lose a great deal of weight?

Recently I went to the boostore and there were so many doet books. My head was spinning. I know that there needs to be an exercise plan and behavior changes, but what one method has it all?
Answer:
Just eat less carbs,cut down on the late night eating, take loads of fruits and veggies especially when u feel like snacking on something. If u're d peckish type carrots r really helpful cuz they're tasty and they fill u up without adding calories.
Get a membership at a local gym and lay off some of the carbs! just be careful excersing in the summer season if you're not used to it you can get to hot and dehydrated. drink plenty of water and stay away from the sodasGood luck
Get off of sweets and complex carbohydrates. Stick to eating lean meats and vegetables. Be wary of fruits since they have a lot of sugar in them.Do some weight training for maybe ten minutes a day followed by maybe half an hour of walking or swimming. Weight lifting conditions your muscles and lean muscle helps to burn fat more efficiently. The walking or swimming is more protracted and will burn more calories and is good for your heart as well. Most diet books are a waste of money. Just watch what you eat and exercise *every day*.
5 small meals a day. less fatty foods, more protein, fruits, veg.
start exerising. cardio vascular such as running, cycling, rowing, this will help you lose weight, to start off i would do about 4 days a week, 45 minutes a day, then as you gradually progress just add on more minutes. e.g. monday, wednesday, fridays, sundays. so you have a break in betweenno weight lifting needed yet as that only strengthens muscles.if you find it difficult to give up the food you eat, you will just have to work harder and train more. but dont cut down your food intake completely, you need energy, and without food, you wont be able to burn calories as fast.good luck

I've lost 49 pounds on the Weight Watchers plan ... it can be expensive but the program works and honestly the money that you can save on food you can use toward the program.
